Seals and Fills the Wood Grain Our expertly formulated one-part pre-varnish wood sealer is perfect for new or bare wood. It fills the wood grain and creates a smooth, level surface, ensuring optimal adhesion for varnish. Suitable for all types of wood, including plywood and oily hardwoods like teak and mahogany.

UV Protection Down to the Wood Grain This sealer provides UV protection down to the wood grain, preventing cracks, checks, and ensuring that varnish will not peel or delaminate. It creates a stable foundation for 1-part marine varnishes such as TotalBoat Lust, TotalBoat Gleam, or TotalBoat Halcyon.

Easy Application Applying is simple. You can use it by brushing, rolling, or spraying on both interior and exterior surfaces. For brushing, thinning with 5-10% TotalBoat Special Brushing Thinner 100 is recommended. For spraying, thin the sealer by 10-25% with xylene.

Fast Drying and No Sanding Between Coats With quick-drying properties, this sealer allows recoating in as little as 2 hours at temperatures above 72°F. No sanding is needed between coats, making the application process efficient and straightforward.
